TIO has developed the broadest range of exhaust gas silencers designed to meet the requirements of every kind of application. We design and manufacture standard silencers for general purpose applications and custom models to suit your specific needs. Our silencers are manufactured from several materals like a.o. S235JRG2, P265, 16MO3, Corten and several stainless steels, and use reactive and absorptive principles or a combination of both, depending upon the application.

For critical noise applications, reactive silencers are often connected in series with the straight through absorptive type silencer. An highly effective and often applied combination is our SDHC reactive silencer with our HD or HDD absorptive silencer.

The datasheets detail the specifications of our standard designs. Applied singly or in a series with other silencers, these will meet your noise requirements.

We provide a wide range of silencers from basic industrial absorptive silencers such as the HD range to the supercritical SDAD range, capable of handling even greater noise requirements. Variable inlet and outlet positions are available, on request, to suit particular installations. All TIO silencers can be combined with TIO spark arrestors. Spark arrestors can also be incorporated, as detailed in one of the following sections.

Where space is restricted and a more unusual configuration is required, TIO offers a range of rectangular silencers with variable inlet and outlet positions to suit particular installations.

TIO can also provide various solutions to the problems presented by air induction noise through the use of various forms of air intake silencers. These can be made in an appropriate size to suit the characteristics of the flow system.
